Established in 1986, Bangladesh Crime Reporters Forum, BCRF is the only professional organization in Bangladesh to protect the health of all working crime/investigative journalists and professionals working successfully in various professions, representing all newspapers, electronic media and news organizations. What do we have first in 64 districts engaged in various professions including reporting.
BCRF is an independent and completely non-political and welfare professional organization, which is dedicated to improving the skills of journalists, providing a safe working environment and enhancing their skills.
BCRF takes necessary measures to remove obstacles to journalists' independent news reporting. It also actively monitors the freedom of journalists in news reporting. One of the main goals of Bangladesh Crime Reporters Forum is to provide a platform for everyone to work together under one umbrella to protect the interests of crime/ investigative journalists for the development of quality journalism in our country.
We believe that we need a lot of training, training & training our aim is to make the members capable of building the country through proper training. To bring the issue of crime and criminals to the attention of the nation. To maintain high moral standards.

As part of the efforts to develop professional skills and focus on it, BCRF organizes lectures, training programs, workshops.
The BCRF Executive Committee provides scholarships to its members in case of natural death/accidental death, money for treatment of acute illness, scholarships for the education of the children of the deceased member.
Every year, the Best Crime Journalist Award is presented for reporting in Investigative/ Crime Journalism. The winner of the best report receives financial assistance, certificate and crest.
The organization also organizes sports events, cultural events, grand picnics, family days and get-togethers for the entertainment of its members.
